How do I identify FGM/C?

Signs a girl has undergone FGM/C are subtle and can easily go unnoticed.

The list below is not exhaustive and different girls may have different experiences depending on the type of FGM/C and the severity of the cut. The symptoms listed here can be used as a starting point in identifying who is at risk and who has already undergone FGM/C.
